This final Halloween crush appeared in several episodes of True Blood and has played a few other roles who bordered on Stepford Wife territory.

Hometown: Aiken, S.C., according to her Wikipedia profile.
Best Known For: Anna's on the Halloween celebrity crush list because of her role as an anti-vampire preacher's wife in the second season of HBO's True Blood, but her highest-profile work to date is probably this year's hit film The Help. She's also appeared in a few episodes of Mad Men season 4 as Bethany, a younger woman Don Draper dated after his divorce.
Humble Beginnings: Her first IMDB credits are from 2007, so she's still very early in her career. Other TV roles have included appearances on Cashmere Mafia, Covert Affairs, Numb3rs, Glee, and The Office. She's also appeared in a few shorts (including a Funny or Die anti-planking PSA) and has a couple of movies filming or in post-production.

On Mad Men as Bethany, a woman too smart and
savvy for Don Draper to love 'er and leave 'er.

Obligatory Edgy Stuff: Anna is also a stage actress whose credits include the 2008 Broadway revival of the controversial play Equus, starring Harry Potter film series star Daniel Radcliffe. This involved full nudity onstage every performance.
The Courteney Cox Factor: She's appeared in at least one music video, for "Marry Me" by the band Train.

Why Ye Olde Podcaster Likes Her: Based off her True Blood, Mad Men, and Love Bites appearances, Anna has shown charisma to spare even when playing characters who might be out of reach or somehow off-limits in the first two cases. Ye Olde Podcaster does not generally prefer blondes, but for her he'll make an exception; she has a sunny smile and Southern demeanor of the best charming sort (as opposed to, urm, the other kind of Southern demeanor that he's seen more often).
