The Halloween celebrity crushes continue with an actress who played the teenage daughter of Satan on the short-lived horror series Point Pleasant, with fellow crush Aubrey Dollar as her mortal foil.

Name: Elisabeth Harnois (images | Web site | Twitter)
Hometown: Detroit, Mich., according to her Wikipedia profile.
Best Known For: Elisabeth joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation this season (after guest-starring in the finale episode of the previous season back in the spring). She played the lovely young Antichrist in the short-lived Fox horror drama Point Pleasant, as stated above, and played a doctor on CBS's short-lived drama Miami Medical in between.

Film work includes Pretty Persuasion (as the best friend of star Evan Rachel Wood's character), Solstice with fellow crush Amanda Seyfried and then-One Tree Hill co-star Hilarie Burton, the Strangers with Candy feature film, the critically acclaimed A Single Man, and the near-universally panned Mars Needs Moms. (Like the man -- Ringo Starr, to be specific -- said: You gotta pay the dues if you wanna sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy...)
Humble Beginnings: Elisabeth was a child actress, starring at around age 12 in Disney Channel's Adventures in Wonderland as Alice. Other childhood roles include appearances on Michael Landon's Highway to Heaven and the Ron Perlman-Linda Hamilton Beauty and the Beast series. Only credits from her adult years are listed for sale below.

In her early adulthood, she landed guest appearances on Two Guys and a Girl (after it ditched the "pizza place," starring fellow crush Traylor Howard), Criminal Minds, and an episode of CSI: Miami based in part on series co-star and fellow crush Eva La Rue's sister having encountered a serial killer with a photography obsession (and lived to tell about it, fortunately). My Date with the President's Daughter landed her a lead role in a made-for-TV movie that, based on its synopsis, sounds a whole lot like a movie Katie Holmes did for the big screen ... a couple of years later.

Miami Medical only lasted one season,
despite its beautiful cast and setting.
And in between her series-regular roles, she's had a few multi-episode engagements as well -- including a six-episode stint on One Tree Hill, a pair of episodes of Without a Trace, and a couple of appearances on the 90210 revival.
Why Ye Olde Podcaster Likes Her: I dug Point Pleasant as much for Aubrey Dollar as for any other reason, but Elisabeth was compelling as the doe-eyed devil girl trying not to, you know, reign down death and destruction. And while Miami Medical sometimes strained credibility, she was fun to watch there as well.

Plus, you know, she looks like she does. And time spent looking at someone who looks like Elisabeth Harnois is more enjoyable than time not spent looking like Elisabeth Harnois, 9 out of 10 heterosexual males agreed.

(I didn't know before writing this that she had spent time on One Tree Hill. Given how much I like , and how much I've enjoyed Hilarie Burton on White Collar, this is another piece of evidence suggesting I might eventually get around to watching that show, which is ending soon.)
