Celebrity crush: Kat Dennings

Hometown: Bryn Mawr, Pa., according to her Wikipedia profile.
Best Known For: So far, Dennings' main claims to fame are the film Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and portraying the girlfriend's daughter in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. She'll be seen later this year in Thor, and she appeared on ER as a girl with whom Shane West's doctor character had sex before learning she was seriously underage. (And speaking of underage, the only credits for purchase below are of projects she's done as an adult.)
Humble Beginnings: After being home-schooled, Dennings graduated from high school at age 14. She had already been acting, appearing in TV commercials as a child. After her family moved to Los Angeles when she was about 16, she landed a job in the short-lived Bob Saget series Raising Dad along with then-child actress Brie Larson.

Missed Opportunities: She was cast for five episodes of Everwood in 2002, but the part was recast with fellow celebrity crush Nora Zehetner instead. Other than being brunettes, the two actresses couldn't look much more different -- Nora's a wispy little elf, and Dennings is magnificently busty.
Obligatory Edgy Stuff: The full magnificence of that bustiness was revealed in 2010 when some nude and semi-nude photos surfaced online, hence the NSFW warning on the images link above. (Ye Olde Podcaster finds most of his audience to be significantly above legal age to view such content.)
Why Ye Olde Podcaster Likes Her: Not only does she have a breathtaking figure, she's a charming actress. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist was a lot of fun, and the personality that shone through in the commentary track (also featuring film co-stars Michael Cera and Ari Graynor -- the latter also a celebrity crush) was endearing.
